Robinson Abonia Injured, Out for Season Friday, July 27th , 2063 The season is finished for Robinson Abonia of the Niagara Falls Expos. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Expos starting pitcher suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Idaho Falls Chukars. Team doctors said it would take at least 11 months to heal. In 13 starts this season, Abonia has crafted a 6-2 record with a 3.25 ERA. |
