Sandoval Wins 3A Top Pitcher Honors Wednesday, August 1st , 2063 When José Sandoval takes the hill, chances are good for a Pontiac victory. At least that's the way it was in May. He excelled with a 4-1 mark and 2.18 ERA in 5 starts, tossed 41.1 innings, fanned 27 and held others clubs to a .196 average. That's why the Godfathers star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the M3L Single A. This year, Sandoval has a 7-5 mark in 13 starts with a 2.37 ERA. He has given up 75 hits in 98.2 innings, struck out 86 and issued 28 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .207 batting average against him. |
