Star of the Week Awarded in 3A Monday, August 15th , 2061 Matt Owens of the Mancelona Torch was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Owens put up some great numbers and hauled in the M3L Single A Player of the Week trophy. He hit .733 with 1 home run and 3 RBIs. The 22-year-old right fielder also scored 4 runs and for the week went 11-for-15. A look at his current stats shows Owens with a .293 average, 5 home runs, 26 RBIs and 20 runs scored. He has played in 65 games. |
