Year Ends for Javier Caraballo in Washington Sunday, August 3rd , 2059 Javier Caraballo will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Washington reliever could miss the remainder of the year. Caraballo was injured while throwing a pitch in the Generals-Expos clash at Waterfall Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn rotator cuff and would be out a minimum of 6 months. For the season, Caraballo has made 7 relief appearances, recorded 1 save, compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 1.29 ERA. In pitching 14 innings, he has totaled 14 strikeouts and 4 walks. |
