3A Selects Cummings August's Best Starter Tuesday, September 1st , 2054 Eric Cummings had an outstanding August -- so good that the M3L Single A presented him with the Pitcher of the Month Award earlier today. "There's no way to know where the Bush Pilots would be without Cummings," one fan is quoted as saying. In August Cummings dominated the competition, running up a 2-0 record, a 0.00 ERA and 15 strikeouts in 10 innings. This year Cummings has fashioned a 5-4 mark, 2.92 ERA and pitched 37 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .215 against him and he has logged 47 strikeouts. |
