Mancelona Out of Playoff Race Saturday, August 26th , 2062 While they stayed relevant until late in the season, a playoff berth wasn't meant to be this season for the Mancelona Torch. The club was eliminated from playoff contention today. "Even though we knew where things stood, it's a disappointment," Torch manager Kevin Hancock said. This is the club's 13th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2047. In total, the Torch have missed the playoffs 22 times in their 24-year history. Mancelona last won the 3L A Championship in 2047. |
