August's 3A Batter of Month Award Announced Friday, September 1st , 2062 Grease Zerk may be much younger than other hitters in the M3L Single A, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Laredo left fielder hit .436 with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and 17 runs scored. This year, Zerk is batting .345 with 58 hits and 9 home runs. He has scored 28 times and has batted in 31 runs. |
