Season Over for Lou Carlson in Belleville Sunday, September 3rd , 2062 Lou Carlson of the Bulls just might have to call it quits for the season. The 23-year-old Belleville reliever received a possible season-ending injury against the Idaho Falls Chukars recently at Belleville Field. Carlson suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Bulls medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 9 months. In 15 relief appearances in 2062, Carlson has nailed down the victory 0 times for his club. In 25.2 innings he has fanned 25 batters and walked 9. His won-lost record is 1-3 with a 3.51 ERA. |
