Laredo Devastated by Playoff Elimination Wednesday, September 6th , 2062 That they came exceptionally close to qualifying for the playoffs will likely provide little solace for fans of the Laredo Hawks -- the team was mathematically eliminated from postseason contention today. "I don't expect the fans to be happy with us," said Hawks reliever Rovilson Elemia. "We're not happy with ourselves." Laredo last appeared in the postseason in 2058. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 19 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Hawks have only made the playoffs once. Laredo last won the 3L A Championship in 2028. |
