Bulls Jason Portillo Will Miss Season Friday, May 13th, 2039 When Jason Portillo was hurt against the Athletic Club KC U-24, the Mt. Vernon Bulls were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 19-year-old catcher suffered a ruptured achilles tendon running the bases in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Portillo would miss 8 months of the season. Portillo is presently hitting at a .146 pace with no home runs and 1 RBIs. He has played in 10 games and scored 2 times. |
