Hobeaus Win 2061 SL A Championship Monday, September 12th , 2061 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Smoky Mountain Hobeaus, that meant the USSL Single A SL A Championship trophy. The Hobeaus took a 10-9 victory over the Monroeville Yinzers at Smokies Stadium, winning their 1st championship after taking the series 2-1. "We've got grit," said Hobeaus center fielder Reginald Parker, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
