Haggans and Hilton Fight, Get Suspended Monday, May 29th , 2062 If there wasn't a history between Bill Haggans of Lake Erie and Jerome Hilton of Chicago, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today. "We're both really competitive," Haggans said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it." For the year, Haggans is batting .304 with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 13 runs scored. |
