José Barrón Strokes 3 Home Runs
Friday, June 10th , 2061
Delmarva Gallos center fielder José Barrón had a magnificent game against the Put-In-Bay Commodores, rocketing three balls out of The Cage to help the Gallos win, 6-4.
"I got some good pitches to hit and I creamed them," he said after the game. "The first was a big, fat fastball and the last two were hanging curves. All three were mistakes."
For the game, Barrón went 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
"There's a fine line between hitting home runs and line drives," Delmarva manager Félix Martínez said later. "Seems like José found his home run stroke today."
José Barrón hit a solo-shot off Francis Davis in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Francis Davis in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Francis Davis in the 7th.
Thus far this year, Barrón has hit .450 with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs.
