Godron of Athletic Club KC Crowned Best Player Monday, June 11th , 2057 Loran Godron made quite a splash in the USPL Single A this past week. The Athletic Club KC U-24 first baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 12 hits in 27 at-bats to roll up a .444 batting average and the USPL Single A Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 5 home runs, 8 RBIs and 8 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. This season, Godron is swinging the bat at a .295 rate with 33 hits in 112 at-bats. To date he has hit 6 home runs, scored 12 runs and driven in 15. |
