Haley Stymies Commodores Friday, July 20th , 2063 In a remarkable performance, South Beach Blaze starter Ron Haley beat the Put-In-Bay Commodores, 7-0, in an impressive 3-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Blaze hurler finished with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Put-In-Bay manager José Trejo said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
