August's Premier Batter Announced Saturday, September 1st , 2063 Shannon Fowler has a lot going for him. The Philadelphia center fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the USPL Single A has just picked him as its top hitter for August. In 20 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .373 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 14 runs scored. This year, Fowler is hitting .319 with 7 home runs and 36 RBIs in 88 games played. He also boasts an OBP of .389 with 30 walks and 45 runs scored. |
