PA's Best Player Named
Monday, July 22nd , 2058
It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the USPL Single A, but last week Bill Barnes of the Cut Off Crawdads reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Barnes rocked opposing pitching for a .429 average (9-for-21), 2 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award.
This year, Barnes is batting .286 with 4 home runs and 11 RBIs. In 30 games he has scored 15 times.
