PA Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 21st , 2062 21-year-old Scott Steiner made a few Smoky Mountain headlines during this past week as the rookie left fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Single A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 20 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Steiner collected 2 home runs, 7 RBIs and scored 7 runs. In his 2062 season totals, Steiner has 8 home runs, .285 BA, .349 OBP, 20 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
