Jets Harold Moore Down and Out for Year
Friday, August 16th , 2058
The doctors have spoken and Harold Moore of the Kennesaw Jets didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old reliever is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Moore sustained his season-ending injury during the Walla Walla Walleye game yesterday at Walleye Tank. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Kennesaw medical staff reported Moore had shoulder inflammation and would be absent from the lineup for at least 5-6 months.
For the season, Moore has made 10 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-0 won-lost mark and a 1.40 ERA. In pitching 19.1 innings, he has totaled 19 strikeouts and 5 walks.
