Malone Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Tuesday, August 20th , 2058 Alan Malone, center fielder for the South Beach Blaze, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 3 hits in his club's 11-3 victory over the Grim Reapers at The Coffin. "I don't really know why it's even happening," he said with a grin after the game. "So asking me how long I can keep it up is kind of irrelevant. It'll end when it ends." Alan Malone flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Malone on the season is hitting .324 with 15 home runs. His stats include 57 RBIs and 43 runs scored. |
