Best PA Reliever Named Wednesday, September 21st , 2061 Manny Sexton was a calming influence out of the South Beach Blaze bullpen this season. His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 24-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the USPL Single A Reliever of the Year Award for 2061. The Athens, Georgia native won the award with 24 saves in 39 relief appearances, 38 strikeouts in 41 innings and a record of 5-4 to go with his 1.32 ERA. He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Bobby Spears of the Newmarket Rogues finished second in voting, while Steffen Benton of the Chicago Tula finished third.
