Malone is Best In PA

Alan Malone took USPL Single A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 25.
For his spectacular campaign, the South Beach Blaze star has been named the 2058 USPL Single A Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the center fielder.
On the season he compiled a .319 batting average to go with a .366 on-base percentage. The native of Bloomington, Indiana also added 19 doubles, 7 triples, 17 home runs, 65 RBIs and 47 runs scored.
He received 7 first place votes out of a possible 10. James Murphy of the Chicago Tula finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Mark Proctor of the South Beach Blaze finished third with 1 first place vote.
