Gisbert Nabs PA Weekly Award Monday, May 11th, 2037 22-year-old Salvador Gisbert made a few Walla Walla headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USPL Single A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 22 at-bats to put up a .455 average. Gisbert collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 7 runs. |
