White Walkers Trade Miller to Bowties for Randolph Saturday, June 5th , 2060 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the White Walkers announced today the acquisition of 34-year old RHP Howard Randolph from the Buckhead Bowties in exchange for 20-year old minor league RHP Leonard Ramírez, 21-year old minor league RF Shannon Miller, and 17-year old minor league 1B Miguel González. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the White Walkers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Buckhead will retain a portion of Randolph's remaining contract. Over his career the 34-year-old Randolph has won 17 and lost 16, collecting 271 strikeouts and 74 walks in 247 innings with a 4.26 ERA. Opponents have hit .250 against him. |
