Season Possibly Over for Marvin Sidebottom Thursday, August 25th, 2044 A blow for Marvin Sidebottom today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7-8 months with a torn labrum. Sidebottom suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Ft. Worth Cattlemen are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Sidebottom's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. This year Sidebottom has no saves in 17 relief appearances with a 3-1 record and 2.75 ERA. |
