Tafalla Day-to-Day with Injury Saturday, August 25th, 2035 Northern Virginia's star third baseman Eustacio Tafalla injured himself in a game against the Richardson City Thundercats, prompting the team to list him as day-to-day. The doctors are reporting the injury as a knee sprain and they say the best medicine is a short period of rest. "Hopefully I don't get replaced by some hotshot wannabe," said Tafalla with a smile as he talked to reporters. Tafalla is hitting .340 this year with 9 home runs and 43 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .416, 45 walks and scored 49 times. |
