Oakland Snaps Zhai Streak at 26

Qing-nian Zhai went 0-for-4 at The Oak Grove to break his consecutive-game hitting streak at 26 games. The 32-year-old Detroit third baseman failed to get a hit in the 4-3 Elite victory over the Oakland Oaks at The Oak Grove.
Zhai did not make himself available to reporters after the game.
"I think Qing-nian is a little upset," Detroit manager Dustin Hewitt said. "He'll get over it."
To date, Zhai has collected 46 hits for a .331 average. He has posted 2 home runs, scored 21 runs and driven in 21 runs.
