Panama City Pitcher Racks Up SL Award Tuesday, August 1st , 2051 For a young man just making his way into the United States Silver League, Guy Riggs has shown incredible poise and confidence over the past month, netting him the coveted Rookie of the Month Award. In July he fashioned a 4-0 mark and a 3.19 ERA. The Panama City starter struck out 40 in 31 innings as he walked 7 and held opposing batters to a .235 average. On his stats sheet for the year Riggs shows a 9-2 record, 12 starts, 75.2 innings, 85 strikeouts and a 3.21 ERA. |
