SL News: The Offseason Begins Friday, October 23rd, 2043 The SL champions have been crowned, the last of the celebratory champagne sipped and now begins another offseason in baseball's cycle of life. For fans, the days drag by, with only news of hirings and firings breaking up the monotony. But for general managers, there's plenty of work to do. The offseason is when a top-notch GM really earns his money. It is their time to analyze the past season, to understand the strengths and weaknesses of their clubs and to make plans for the next season.
