Ft. Worth, Memphis Deal Made Saturday, August 4th , 2063 According to BNN there were mixed emotions by the players involved in the trade between the Ft. Worth Cattlemen and the Memphis Mockingbirds. As part of the deal, the Cattlemen swapped $1,500,000 in cash to the Mockingbirds getting 27-year old 3B Harvey Bush in return. The players indicated it was good to get a fresh new start in another city, but it was difficult to leave your friends on the old team. Bush is hitting .264 for the season with 2 home runs, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 37 hits in 140 at-bats and played in 45 games. |
