SL's Best Player Named Monday, August 6th , 2063 25-year-old Mal Parker sent shock waves through United States Silver League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the United States Silver League Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Parker made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .467 average, 7 hits in 15 at-bats, 3 home runs and 7 runs batted in. Where the St. Louis Coeur center fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Parker certainly made his mark last week. So far this year, Parker has hit .346 with 11 home runs, 35 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
