Mondragon Snares SL Top Batter Award in July Wednesday, August 1st , 2057 When José Mondragon stepped up to the plate in July he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the United States Silver League Batter of the Month award. The young Greenville first baseman posted a .310 batting average with 7 home runs, 16 RBIs and scored 16 runs. Mondragon also worked pitchers for 13 walks to post a .404 on-base percentage. So far this season, Mondragon has put up a .316 batting average with 83 hits, 19 home runs and 53 RBIs. |
