Feliciano Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Friday, August 10th , 2063 Manny Feliciano continued his streak at The Tank, even as the ballgame did not go his way. The Panama City second baseman was 2-for-5 in today's contest and now has hit safely in his last 20 games. The Piranhas were not as fortunate, losing, 5-4, to the St. Louis Coeur. "Feliciano was hitting everything we threw at him," said St. Louis manager Scott McMahon. "He is a tough out. Fortunately, things went our way in the ballgame and we came away with a win." Manny Feliciano grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 7th, singled in the 8th and grounded out in the 10th. Feliciano is hitting .348 this year with 22 home runs and 64 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .394, 24 walks and scored 58 times. |
