Serrano Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Saturday, July 29th , 2062 5 times is the charm -- at least for Jesús Serrano. The Long Island Lighthouse first baseman tore up the Pittsburgh Kingfishers to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Pittsburgh Grounds. The offensive onslaught from Serrano powered the 6-5 Lighthouse win. "Serrano was a tough out," Pittsburgh manager Tyler Johnson said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Jesús Serrano doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Cipriano Flores in the 9th and hit a solo-shot off Eugene Ingram in the 11th.
