Long Island Blanks Liberty, Harding at His Best Wednesday, August 2nd , 2062 Long Island Lighthouse hurler Ken Harding was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Philadelphia Liberty, shutting them out, 4-0, on 4 hits. "Ken was very aggressive tonight," Long Island manager Michael Esposito said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." Through 9 innings, Harding tallied 9 strikeouts and allowed no walks. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Geoff Matt said. "Harding has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
