Pandas, Northern Lions BC Trade Players Friday, August 4th , 2062 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Pandas announced today the acquisition of 21-year old minor league LHP Gerald Tate and 18-year old minor league RHP Maup Looms from the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC in exchange for 25-year old RHP Robert Cote. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Pandas, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Cote has made 7 starts, tossed 41.1 innings, struck out 36 batters and walked 11. His record is 2-3 with a 3.70 ERA and he has limited other teams to a .261 batting average. |
