Hollywood-Long Island Deal: Yi for Woodward Friday, August 4th , 2062 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Hollywood Shredders and the Long Island Lighthouse have agreed to a deal that will have 27-year old 1B Soo-keun Yi heading to Long Island in exchange for 21-year old minor league SS Carroll Thompson, 23-year old minor league 3B Danny Woodward, and 27-year old minor league 2B Gerardo MartÃnez. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Posting a .241 batting average to date, Yi has 11 home runs and 43 RBIs. |
