Doom Raises Awareness at Local Animal Shelter Sunday, February 18th , 2063 Lighthouse center fielder and noted animal rights activist Thulsa Doom appeared at a local animal shelter today. Doom visited the shelter to help call attention to the cause of pet adoption. "These animals desperately need to be taken in by loving families," said the popular Long Island player as he cradled a small puppy. "Many of these little guys were unwanted and abandoned. I just want to use my status in the community to help find good homes for them." Doom, who is a member of PETA, has long been a spokesman for the organization and is a noted advocate for animal protection. |
