Pittsburgh's Hennessey Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Thursday, August 10th , 2062 Dave Hennessey had an answer for everything the Philadelphia Liberty threw at him at Liberty Park. The Pittsburgh right fielder went 5-for-9 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Kingfishers a win, 5-4. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Hennessey said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Dave Hennessey grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, singled in the 11th, flied out in the 12th, flied out in the 15th and doubled in the 17th.
