Grey Wolves-Voodoo Deal: Ci for Pauw Wednesday, August 4th , 2060 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Grey Wolves announced today the acquisition of 29-year old minor league 1B Gerben Pauw and $5 in cash from the New Orleans Voodoo in exchange for 34-year old RHP Félix González and 29-year old minor league RF Xue-liang Ci. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Grey Wolves, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Pauw is hitting at a .236 rate over his 159-game career. Lifetime he has 44 doubles, 3 triples and 23 home runs with 70 RBIs and 82 runs scored. |
