Pittsburgh's Hennessey Takes Home SL Batting Honors Monday, September 26th , 2061 The 2061 United States Silver League batting champion is Dave Hennessey of the Pittsburgh Kingfishers. He just closed out an impressive season with a .335 average. His consistency at the plate was a prime reason the 22-year-old center fielder beat out the competition. A slump was a rare occurrence for him. Playing in 82 games, Hennessey contributed 106 hits, 16 home runs and 51 RBIs to the Kingfishers attack. |
