O'Day Gets September's Top Pitcher Trophy Saturday, October 1st , 2061 The United States Silver League scribes have announced September's Pitcher of the Month and have given the award to P.J. O'Day of Memphis. He was one tough cookie on the mound last month with a fine 3-1 mark to prove it. The Memphis star made 4 starts with a 1.74 ERA and surrendered 20 hits in 31 innings. He struck out 14 and walked 6. This year, O'Day has worked 121 innings with 79 strikeouts en route to a 11-4 record and 2.01 ERA. |
