Hard work, long hours and a tireless resolve paid off for him today in the form of the United States Silver League Outstanding Hitter Award. Hennessey hit for a .335 average while collecting 106 hits, 23 doubles, 10 triples, 16 home runs, 51 RBIs and scoring 56 times. Celestino Pvoas of the Memphis Mockingbirds finished second in voting, while Rhys Jeffes of the Philadelphia Liberty finished third. |
