Best SL Reliever Named Saturday, November 11th , 2062 Barry Davis said he thinks hitters often underestimate him, as he's only 26 years old. But he'll certainly be getting a lot more respect now, as the Echo Park Lakers rising star has won the United States Silver League Reliever of the Year Award for 2062. He captured the award on the strength of his 2.37 ERA over 117.2 innings. He also had no saves in 17 relief appearances, 108 strikeouts and only 31 walks. Frank Gagnon of the Pittsburgh Kingfishers finished second in voting, while José Hernández of the Philadelphia Liberty finished third. |
