Knights End Umaba's Streak Sunday, May 1st, 2044 Toledo Stingers left fielder Kanko Umaba and his hot bat finally met their match today at Pacesetter Park. The Kingston Township Knights snapped his 20-game hitting string, holding Umaba hitless in 4 at-bats and also whipping Toledo for good measure. "We're real pleased with this one," Knights manager Rayzor Ray said. "Nobody wants to be on the wrong end of a streak like that, and clobbering Toledo makes it even sweeter." |
