Flamingos, Lighthouse Trade Players Sunday, May 8th , 2061 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Las Vegas Flamingos and the Long Island Lighthouse have agreed to a deal that will have 31-year old 1B Jesús Serrano and $12,000,000 in cash heading to Long Island in exchange for 21-year old minor league LF Hugh Kneecorn, 21-year old minor league CF Gilberto Martínez, 21-year old minor league RHP Mark Christian, and 21-year old minor league RHP Gustavo Martínez. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. In 542 career games Serrano has hit .272 with 564 hits, 103 home runs, 290 RBIs and scored 289 runs. |
