Career Over -- José Martínez Retires Wednesday, May 9th , 2063 José Martínez said he's looking forward to getting home to Pinar del Rio, Cuba to relax and unwind. At age 36, the Memphis Mockingbirds player has announced he will retire at the end of the season. "I'm thankful for my time in United States Silver League, but all good things must come to an end," he said. To date in Martínez's career he has no saves with a 44-44 record and a 3.92 ERA. |
