Today the 25-year-old Panama City starter was awarded the Menard's Third League Rookie of the Month trophy for his standout performance in June. He dominated the rookie class, registering 3 wins and 1 loss in 0 starts with 14 strikeouts in 14.1 innings and a 2.51 ERA. Not bad for a first-year man. Cross has made 10 relief appearances this year and notched 2 saves. To date in 21 innings he has a 4-1 record, 2.57 ERA with 22 strikeouts and 3 walks. |
