Ruíz Befuddles Cleveland Friday, July 1st, 2039 The Toledo Stingers did little to support starter José Ruíz against the Cleveland Browns, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Browns, striking out 6 and surrendering 2 hits. The performance from Ruíz allowed Toledo to escape with the 3-0 win despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said 'José, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Ruíz told BNN reporters following the win.
