Hitting Streak Still Alive for Johnson Saturday, June 16th , 2063 The hot bat of Hurricanes right fielder Karl Johnson continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 20 games after he went 1-for-4 in today's 4-3 loss to the Divided at Washington Stadium. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Karl Johnson flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. For the year, Johnson is batting .328 with 5 home runs. |
